8 Great Ways to Enjoy Crepes

Crepes! What a wonderful treat. They can be sweet, savory or a bit of both. And there are many ways to enjoy them. I gathered some great recipes for you (one of which I developed for Food & Nutrition magazine) and I think you’ll love the variety of ways you can enjoy this thin, tasty pancake.

Serve them up with Berries

Fill ’em with Cheese

If you like more of a blintz style (rolled and stuffed with cheese), you’ll might want to head on over to Food & Nutrition magazine for my Ukranian-inspired Cheesy Crepes with Zucchini. These are a bit more savory, but refreshing as well with a garnish of cucumber and Greek yogurt.

Spread on Some Jam

Serve it up with Jam! And make it yourself. Get this tasty, 3-ingredient Chia Jam recipe from Dara Gurau of How to Eat. Sure it’s great on toast, but wait to you spread it on crepes. Delish! In fact, my first intro to crepes what a slather of Raspberry Jam and I’ve loved the simplicity of this treat ever since.

Make it a Protein-rich, Low Carb Treat

Lauren Harris-Pincus of Nutrition Starring You likes making Fruity Egg Wraps for a high protein, low carb option. Made simply with eggs, egg whites and a dash of salt, these crepes are served up with toasty walnuts and a fruit spread.

Crepes are a great canvas to work with. You can fill them with something savory (like these cheese-filled ones below), sweet or something in between. Enjoy the variety I’ve shared or use as inspiration to come up with something of your own.
