This Golden Goddess was created out of my need for good taste and an acid-watcher-friendly recipe. It’s got the whipped appeal of a frozen treat, the looks of a cocktail and whole food ingredients to aide in health and healing.
As promised, I’m staging my new series – “The Healing Cocktail” for #acidrefluxdiet. To design it as a cocktail, I used a cooking brush to coat top edge of glass with date syrup (just dates) and then dipped in a bowl of @manitobaharvest hemp hearts. It’s tasty, refreshing and has just the right amount of sweetness.
.
This Golden Goddess mocktail is made with the following ingredients:
.
• frozen edamame
• frozen banana chunks 🍌
• smoothie greens
• Almond milk (I used @threetreesfoods brand – it’s just almonds and filtered water, no additives or stabilizers)
• 1 Tbs carob powder (just carob)
• 1 Tbs almond butter
• 3 dried plums @sunsweetgrowersinc #prunes
(And of course date syrup and hemp hearts to coat the rim)
And the recipe is quite simple! Grab your high speed blender and blend it all together. It’s super delicious and suitable for those on an acid reflux diet, but good for all!
