Eat Less Meat, More Veggies with these Satisfying Options

Eat less meat because research shows that a plant-based diet can improve health and be more sustainable for the environment.

When it comes to a plant-based diet, including a little meat, poultry and fish is just fine. Because a plant-based or moving to a more “plant-forward” diet means you are simply shifting your diet from meat-heavy entrees to more plentiful vegetables dishes. Thus your animal protein (be it fish, poultry or lean ground beef) becomes more of an accessory or condiment rather than the main focus of your meals. And believe me just a little can go a long way in terms of flavor/texture. And going sans (without) animal protein can be just as satisfying to.
